Hi there.
Yesterday, after a very long time, i installed TDR 2000 again on my new Comp.
Everything went fine, i installed the upgrade patch and started the game.
I recognized that its running with 640x480, so I left the game an started the setup to select a higher resolution. The problem is, i can't play with higher resolutions. Everything above 640x480 makes the game crash, with an error message saying "FAILED : Find display mode".
I tried to select different graphic cards with the "Profile" option, but none of them are working.
Im using a 9700 Pro with Catalyst 4.9 beta drivers ( the doom3 hotfix drivers ).
I hope someone can help me !
Oh, by the way : where can i get a bloodpatch for the european zombie version of the game ? I searched with Google but didnt find anything.

TDR 2000 : FAILED : Find Display Mode

My first guess would be to roll back on your old driver for your video card,
most of the time when theres somthing with the words "Beta" in it, its got some
issues
Haha Fuck you Kitteh
Re: TDR 2000 : FAILED : Find Display Mode
Well, everything else works just fine with the beta drivers, but i can try the old ones. Maybe it works.
edit : I tried the normal drivers, but its still not working. Any ideas ?

mmmh...
Deleting the .gfx file didn't help, but it seems to work in windowed mode. That's at least something, although it sucks that i can see the window while playing ..

Re: TDR 2000 : FAILED : Find Display Mode
After hearing Carmageddon 4 news was on its way June 1st, I installed this for nostalgia's sake and got the same error. In case anyone else finds this thread like I did, I fixed it in Win 7 by setting compatability mode to Win XP SP3 with 'run as administrator checked'. You then run 'Carmageddon TDR2000 Setup' from the start menu folder and hit the Profile button so that the game scans your system. When that finishes, leave 'default' selected in the left box. Then press play, then Options. Hit 'Advanced' then set Mip Filter to None, everything else can be set to anything I think. Running it at 1920x1200 with an occasional crash here and there, but it's quite playable.
