I had the actual site up long enough to register and watch the memory lane video, but now it's back to the timer

The mod section of their forums certainly makes me hopeful that the new one will support mods on the PC!

It's been a long time that there hasn't been that much user activity on CWA.

Hopefully this will also bring some motivation into modding existing games :]

sure it's fast, but it just doesn't sit right. Angries-up the blood, as autopilot would say.

So, to drive the point home:

Is fast. (in a game where realistic performance doesn't matter)

No other redeeming qualities.

Yeah, if something like the Veyron was in the game, it would have to have a huge turning circle and awful handling to compensate (and I do mean even worse than it actually has) to make it fit in. Super fast but can't corner for shit, probably with a jet engine shoved up it's arse for an over-the-top style. That sort of thing.

The point about Carmageddon cars has always been that they're completely over the top exaggerations of the cars they're inspired by. Given how difficult it is to drive in real life, a Carma car inspired by the Veyron should be pretty much undrivable. I doubt that's the sort of car the people who want to use a Veyron in the game would want to use
