Who knows the correct path to unpack the ZAD files in Max Damage?

Data_Core folder is not working now, I think.

I just unpack audio.zad file like in Reincarnation, and this is not working in Max Damage.

ZADs no longer contain the Data_Core\Content\ folder structure, so you need to create a folder called Data_Core in the Max Damage folder, then a folder called Content in that, then extract the ZAD file in there. The game will only read content from Data_Core if you run it with the following command line switch which disables ZADs, thus requiring everything in the ZAD folder to be extracted: -use_zads 0

The upcoming release of Minge will support extracting C:MD ZAD files and the new command line options.

Unpacking ZAD files in Max Damage.

Hello!!

i had extrat zad file and delete the Audio_Music.ZAD from folder (if i let it just play that)

in main folder i create Data_Core\Content\audio\music\ and inside my _playlists.cfg +mp3 (with no strange simbols)

start game but no music! )

I tryed too with zip all in Audio_Music2.zad placed inside the game's ZAD_AUDIO folder but game freeze on splashscreen...

If i -use_zads 0 my musics are played but of course no the Zad outside the Data_core.

So seems that in everycase the game don't read the Data_core in first.

Some suggestions?

Thanks

You may try to zip all your *.mp3 files in Audio_Music.zad (create audio/music folders in ZAD). Backup or rename original file.

Example of my files.

Spoiler:

I just add *.mp3 files to original audio_music.zad file and edit playlists.cfg.

Have you made sure the ZAD files are retaining the original file structure? Are you making sure it is just a plain normal ZIP file you are making and not something more exotic like a 7z or RAR or something else?
