That looks pretty good. Outside ring of trees looks like a wall instead of shrubbery though.

But did you really need to start a new thread?

You do have the ability to change the title of your posts within a thread.

So you change the title to Beta 2.1, Beta 3.55 or whatever without having to start a new thread each time.

this is my first go at making a map and i havent modeled before so i'm doing well, but yeah how do you suggest i make a hedge? would a new change in texture make the difference?

Maybe a new texture, take a look at some other S.O.D and C2 maps, you'll see they use one tree texture, you could even use some textures from Maxine's texture packs:

There's the GTA: San Andreas texture pack and another texture pack with 85 textures.

And if you're still in need of textures (that need resizing), then you could always use: http://www.cgtextures.com/

I use that website an awful lot.

I don't think there's any trees or shrubs in Max's textures.

@hypo: you can use my tree texture from Dirt Track 2. The alpha channel gives the transparency.

yeah i'll give your texture ago coffey cheers for the help it's gonna look really good hopefully once i add all the detail to the outside of the map, well heres hoping anyways
