I got a Damn stupid problem with my Carmageddon 2. while i'm playing i can hear the music perfectly but sometimes the engine's sound disapear. It also happens when I hit other cars or hit poeple sometimes i can heard the sound sometimes not. can anyone help me whit that?
it's hard to get really fast, hit a bastard in the middle of the street and don't hear any scream or splat sound!

in the options.txt theres a line like so:
"SoundDetailLevel 2" not sure how high it goes, but i think 3
3 might be the lowest setting though, so if theres even less sounds, try 1
