C2 slomo sound problems

I've got a really strange problem with Carma 2: all the sounds are in slow motion in game, and every time I go to the options menu they get even slower, and permanently. My sound works fine in every other game. I'm running it under Zeckensack's Glidewrapper, high res, Windows XP, onboard AC97 sound.

Please help, this is bugging the shit out of me.

Also: It doesn't do it at the computer at my other house, with very similar specs. The only difference is that this computer is a micro-atx and it uses onboard AC97, whereas the other one uses an ASUS with nForce 4.

EDIT: NEVERMIND, FIXED IT, I HAD THE WRONG DRIVERS INSTALLED
