TDR Help..

Post by n3wton »

Right, I have recently upgraded my PC, so I have had to format my HDD and start from stratch, everything was running real smooth, GTA III & Vice City runs so so smooth, running @ 1280x1024 full everything, Carmageddon 2 is un-controllable the refresh rates needs knocking down abit...

anyhow, I installed TDR, and tried running it, worked fine before I upgraded, but now I get this error, everything time I run it

Image

anyone, got any suggestions what it could be: its obivously something Hardware related, cause it worked fine before: spec:

P4 3.06Ghz

1.5GB DDR Ram

120GB HDD

128MB Geforce4 Ti

all hardware, is update with drivers, am running Direct x9, but I was running that before anyhow... please :help:

What Hardware did you install?

If it includes a new graphics card....go to the manufacturers site and get the latest drivers, get latest directX and make sure TDR sees what graphics card you are running.

Try that stuff and let us know what hardware you put in.

Ok Newton just out of pure intrest try running it with the -f switch, go in to your shortcuts properties, and in the Target box the path should have a -f on the end fro example mine is like this

Target: "C:\Program Files\SCi\Carmageddon TDR2000\TDR2000.exe" -f

I dont think it is the cause but these problems are usually caused by somthing really small and silly, like once i was overclocking my processor and it began to over heat, i thought i had clocked it too high, turned out the fan had become full of dust and stopped

Hope you get it worked out.....and remember if ya dont TDR will be extinct sometime anyway, it will have to make room for Crashday and Carmageddon 4 (fingers crossed so tight they broke and i had to go to hospital)

Oh......try getting a tdr No CD Crack dont know why but it might work

Can't anyone give a solution, I'm having the same problem.

Been running the game perfectly on Win98 but now I have a new comp with XP and it has the same error as shown above. I tried a no-cd patch but it failed, I can't run setup to change videocards etc either nor can the game be uninstalled (it says it does but it doesn't).

I bought this game when it was just released... it's the english blood version... and since i bought it I'm really pissed that it doesn't work anymore.

Please find or give the solution if possible.
