photography contest

Post by valium »

hear ye, hear ye!

i entered, because i badly need a new camera since mine died

and no funds to replace, because i'm moving next month (my first real house, instead of one tiny room)

please, take a minute (that's all) and rate my entry.

i'll give you cookies (or maybe not, but i'll be very thankful)

follow me and be amazed!

thanks

@ alex, i'll translate:

"this picture was made on a very hot day, and i had the feeling to be in the Dutch Sahara. I wanted to document that feeling, and was happily surprised by the result of this self-portrait. the climb was well worth the trouble.

all i had to do was adjust the gamma"

"Deze foto is op een zeer warme dag gemaakt, en ik waande me dan ook in de Hollandse Sahara. Dat gevoel wilde ik vastleggen, en was dan ook zeer blij verrast met het resultaat van dit zelfportret. De klim omhoog was de moeite waard.

Ik hoefde alleen de gamma aan te passen"

@ coffey

10 is best, and i forgot to mention, after you vote you get a link via mail (you know those long types of links) to activate your vote (and prevent fraud)

YAY!

you people make my day a lot better! i was planning a photosafari today on the 'kootwijkerzand' with a ladyfriend of mine

kootwijkerzand wiki

but i got a text message last night she has to go to the hospital today, so it is called off

she has lyme disease, so it is a valid reason. i just hate the fact that she must have known it before yesterday, since it's a checkup.

perhaps she knows i've had an eye one her for the last couple of years (she recently finally broke up with her boyfriend), meh.

anyhoo, thanks for the cheerup!
