Yeah, maybe it'd be better to have a separate screenshot thread within the C:R subforum

Seeing as C:R works on my pc again.
I'm wondering what tutorial everyone is using to get cars to work in C:R, I haven't checked the forum in so long I haven't got a clue where to start lol.

500BRU camera limit exists in C1 too (on the +X axis).
And yes, it's GTA 1

To be honest that camera limit is better than GTA1's camera, at least you can see ahead of you at speed ;)

oh hey! Welcome on the CWA
Nice shots, testing 320x200. I see you modded some stuff too. Doozer certainly looks less menacing like that

EDIT : Got another version now, with DOS the only two that work.
Have you tried the Meldpack?

Should work easily in Windows. If it doesn't, I'm interested in feedback.

I tried that multiple times, tried the Special edition aswell.
With the Meld pack i guess it depends on which version is used.
The ClassicGamingNetwork version does work, but only up to 76 vehicles or it crashes.
The Special edition works if i do not save the game, and even then if the game is opend again the next day it still crashes :$ .
The Steam version with the Meldpack seems to work fine, no error's what so ever.

I continue to add all sorts of stuff to the
RR2000 gallery. This time I added more scans.
Among them I found these:
Larger original logo, coloured concept arts, red Towmeister, Twister's original texture. Too bad the scan is poor. However I might be motivated to actually buy that issue of PC Joker (may 1997)!
It's crazy how all these early screenshots show the original hires textures and now they are lost

I still believe that someone somewhere must have these indev items, maybe lost in old backup drives but someone must.
It's a shame that Rusk is no longer with us as I'd imagine he would have had a lot of good stuff to share with us.

It's surprising how well these two games fit together. Nothing looks out of the ordinary. Those dev-tool shots look cool too. I never knew we had access to those.
And how refreshing to see a new post on this forum...

Wow Tosh, you did more for the Twentieth anniversary of Grand Theft Auto then Rockstar did.
Sad really if you think about it.
Anyways great level, like Harm said it fits very well with the Original Carmageddon.
