Re: Boom Boom
FUCK it takes eons to load upp the page... almost 5 mins for me (56k modem)... cant people cut down the size on the picks a little (and use JPG... good quality and mutch smaller than BMP if anyone used that)... i mean it dosnt take long time to resize the picks...

Re: Boom Boom
Querty: how dare you treat hello kitty with such disregard!
Destroier: if youre in glide you hold down shift and 'D'.. the screen shot gets dumped in your data directory, if youre just in D3D like me, simply press print screen and its in your clipboard and you paste it in your paint prog

Re: Boom Boom
Here's a DivX-compressed movie clip for a change, if you have the patience to download it: 3.7 MB.
(The size is still too big for about 15 second-long movie!)

Re: Boom Boom
that is about one slow server you got there C2_Scientist,
doh now it's timed out, I shall try laterz maybe
know this might sond off the wall but you should give the windows media 9 encoder a try for 15sec file size should be uber small (it's really pretty good, makes great for streaming video)

Re: Boom Boom
How would I go about compressing a replay clip with it? I've got a few little Hello Kitty Car wreck vids lying about...

Re: Boom Boom
Ok... I'm taking it as this thread has been resurrected! To compress a .mov to .avi you have to export the quicktime format. To do this just open the movie and click file, export. I don't know if you need the pro version, which I have, so I can't speak for unregistered uzer0rs. Then just use some free program that comes with a graphics card or something to compress that into VCD compliant MPG. That really is good! Reasonable quality too. Some programs even let you add sound effects.
Anyone willing to host some of my stuff? I have some videos I think are pretty pimpin'!
