Which cars would you like to make a comeback in C4?

Hiya all.

Some of you may remember that when TDR2000 was being made, SCI/Torus made a public poll asking people which cars of the previous carmageddon series they would like to see in TDR... Well, this time neither SCI nor Visual Sciences have cared to do so (not that they give a shit, methinks), but still I am curious about which cars made the most impact between us fans.

Go ahead and post which 5 cars of each of the carmageddon games would you like to see again (The Eagle doesn't count).

My Choices:

From C1; Project-X... It has been sorely neglected in the last two versions of Carmageddon. I would REALLY like to see it return in C4!!!

That's a great image, I have it printed and placed on the wall here, along with 4 other rendered car imaged from C1... I only have a few, and I still don't know where to get them all, or if they're still viewable somewere...

BTW, I never noticed that shovel on the car...

C1) Countslash, without a doubt - that car makes me cream
Fraud Broko, but with different suspension
Hammerhead, by far too cool to leave out
Leadpumper, obviously
All the lil mini cars, like Grunge Buster, Street Eater... they were fucking cool

Splat Pack: Never played, so don't know

C2) Hellrod
Plow Mk 2
This is a tough one... 'cos they're not as cool as the C1 ones, so I don't have any "MUST be in C4" ones, even the 2 above... (Well, maybe Donny D, 'cos he's cool)

TDR) Jadead, probably, but better done...
Chef was a neat idea, but turned out disappointing when you actually got to drive it

Just have them put out a game where you don't actually pick a car, but pick a link to download your car from. Either TSS, or Planet Maim, you know.
That way we can be sure there's gonna be quality motöring in the game.

well, I liked alot of the cars that appeared throughout the games. and by the way, to TTR, the elactric cacr was electric blue, and it was a neat idea, by having the tracks at the bakc and wheels in the front.

since I am not a big fan of carma 1 or 2 I will only say the cars I think were good in tdr2000 and what should be in carma 4

The Machine - for sure, that car was awesome, the hevy weight, yet it was maeuverable and could go reatively fast.

Wraith - that car was really strange, but it was pretty cool.

Eagle MK4 - what would carmageddon be without the mk4?

King Merc - A tank and a mercedes all-in-one, who would of thought of that?

Suppressor and DaPanzer - big and not too slow

Rubber Ducky and Killa Kart - If there were to still be small cars, those two were probably the best

... I could think of more, but lots of the cars in TDR werent too unique, they were only regular cars with unique skins... nothing more.

I dont really think Shark, Stormbirnger or Vlad really went well with the rest of the game they were too fast... and the Master Mine and Soul Harvester were much too slow. another one that shouldnt star in a game is the spectre, it can be wasted easily in one crash, its damage sucks.

Gods... forgot everything about project-x and the leadpumper, mebbe N3wton is right...every single car from the saga should return in C4; at least every single one from C1, SP & C2 (TDR had some quite crappy ones IMO).

"Sick driver picture" hell yeah it would be cool to race against a character, just like in C1&2!!!, and please, please... If the storyline is going to be like TDR... better keep it a senseless killing game just like C2.

But I'm going off-topic, forget what I just said.

Hehehe... Well you have to give some credit to the guys at Torus.
Naturally they were bound to use some of the original ones. It wouldn't be carma without them. (Well, it would be less 'carma' without them) - But when you have to come up with a bunch of new ideas, that haven't been done after C1, SP and C2, you really do have to scratch your head...

(Still, some ideas were choad, but so is the way of carmageddon.

I liked the majority of the cars in TDR to be honest, although there were some terrible ones as well.. mainly those silly flimsy "rubber ducky" things. TDR had quite a bit of more "normal cars" which I like to see. the HFB terra is a favorite of mine, bumbly bee another, but a weird monsterish car is fun sometimes as well, like the ped basher.

I didnt like any of the cars in c2 really, I can't even pick a favorite car from that game, yet its still the best game ever made, thanks to add-ons.

In the original I liked the station wagon like everyone else, the caddy was fun too.
