Interesting start with your eagle redux, the flared fenders look just about right, but I'd suggest maybe making the rear fenders slightly higher than the front ones. Not sure about the rear roofline as it gives the impression of a hatchback.
Be interesting to see how it turns out. Keep it up

i mean - i like eagle redux more than first. because it looks more solid, more reliable for smashing, more feels like from carma universe, more familiar looking with eagle mk1 and mk2. i dunno exactly. the first one is well made but something in it looks for me that it's misplaced here. it doesn't look like it could be in any carma game even with the blade on the roof. too much look from civil car i guess

Oh ok I thought you meant second one as being the finished one :) Yes well the concept for the second eagle was in a nutshell : Build a performance car that could pass off as something in today's world, convert into eagle, profit.I did just that :P I suppose that's why it looks like a civilian car(because it was initially). The redux is more long the lines of building a custom car in one's garage and building it specifically for Carmageddon with not much else in mind xD
I wonder why dedicated topics seem to be more popular :? Hmm perhaps I shot myself in the foot by condensing it, oh well a single topic looks better, don't have to sift through all the pages :)
Once I finish the towmeister (for which I'm trying different a lighting setup) I'll give you more angles :) Although I will warn you there isn't that much to see, it's a very simple car xD
Hmm I really have't been too active on this thread which is hopefully going to turn around soon. I've been really busy with college as well as modeling Max (trying to get his face just right is taking a long time) and seeing as I've never modeled a human before this it's taking a while to get used to all the technical bits like the organic topology. Anyhow, I'm still alive and about to finish up the UV's on the improved and not so new Towmeister. I've added some more detailing and re topoed the mesh as well as reducing the render time poly count to about a tenth of what it was before :O Depending on how C:R will be set up I will be able to do some further reduction and get it into the game (by the looks of thing the Big Dump is returning but who knows if pitbull will be the driver again so porting this model might not be necessary we'll see xD)

Oh my god that looks way too good. Seriously, that looks too good. I love the idea of eventually racing the version that was in the cutscene, it looks racey as hell!
I love the render work btw, the god idear is a good one, im thinking off the top of my head here but can we have it hanging from the hook ? at the back of the crain ?. Maybe a little sick but woulld totally be a carmageddon car then :). One thread with all the artwork is beter for all of us that have seen the pics and those that havent yet there all awsume in there own way so keep up the good work. and dont over work your self since your still doing school.

I would definitely be worth it, but not for the towmeister, I think of pitbull as someone that doesn't get along with people so he turns to animals, and I doubt he would kill his dog ;)
I thought this was quite funny, don't ask me why, I'm sure Max wouldn't be pleased with such disgraceful early work pics being publicly displayed. Anyway tonight I started on the face so stuff is being done ^_^
Thanks man! I wonder how others see Max and whether they will be upset with me making him red, with no eyebrows or eyelashes. That reference image is staring down into my soul T_T
i think the color of max being red is suitable because of the games main theme and thats making plenty of blood. but i think what you have done with the face so far well can only tell once its animated.
Looking pretty good! the body certainly is coming along on the towmeister, when you're done mapping it I'd be happy to paint up a grubby version texture for ya if you want. Interior looks pretty good too, only suggestion would be to have the metal bulkheads showing on the floor & inside roof lining with no carpet, since it is a rustic style of vehicle it may be an idea.
Thanks again Mike, seeing as I haven't yet textured the interior I'll look into your suggestion :) might reduce the poly count as well by removing those interior details :P
I has more work to show :) Still have to do a lot more tweaking and some detail sculpting, just need to get used to zbrush first it feels a bit alien coming from Maya, anyway, Max Damage progress :)

Well my version of Max is going to be red so it's arguable if he's going to be human or not (that's why I like him being red skinned, throws me off a little, makes me ask questions)
