So a while ago I uninstalled the game after I wasn't able to play it anymore. Yes, like a year ago the game was playable for me. Someday it wasn't, so I deleted it. Now I'm trying to play it again and it crashes on startup.
My specs:
Nvidia GeForce GTX750
RAM: 8GB
IntelCore i5-3330 3.00GHz
Windows 8

Goto the support tab and report your bug, you could try upgrading your video drivers and directx

After uninstalling the game, do you check if you already got the carmageddon folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Carmageddon_Reincarnation ?
If yes, you could have some corrupted files that was not cleared by the new install.
You could try to uninstall the game, and then delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Carmageddon_Reincarnation
And then make a fresh install
