An errand vehicle...

Post by Econobrick »

...sent by clerks to collect a bill?!!

The vehicle: A chevy P30 step van (circa sometime in the 80's...not that they've ever changed much.)

4199 polys. I'm likely gonna do a second version without the side window (for a mail van, repair van, or even an old SWAT vehicle...although they usually use the bigger kind for that I would think.)

Just gotta texture the interior and driver and that's about all. (oh and the WAM stuff)

He, that's great. Another utilty vehicle, wich sparks the creativity for applications.

In Holland a company called TNT uses vans likes this. That name could be interpreted in different ways.

The predecessor of TNT (van Gend & Loos) used vans like this from the 60's , but I believe they where called Commer.

Why not start a skinning competition, especially for that next version.

yes indeed they do. The problem is the only way to have them slide in c2 would to be to have them set as GROOVES in the txt file...which would mean they would slide back and forth constantly, not on command. And that would look retarded at best?!

So, I guess I'm just going to have to set them as detachables. oh well...

Wow that's cool. Can't wait for the one w/o the window. I made a couple of vans like that as traffic cars for MM1.

I'm truly not surprised by that fact. Considering the fact that AoD is now dubbed as a "Cult Classic". But, I'll never forget that movie... <Drift's off into fond memories>

Heh... it'd be funny to make a ghetto-mobile skin for that thing. Pre-cracked windshield, some funky fresh 80s graffiti all over the sides.

I'm so sorry, Econobrick. I did NOT intend to ignore this. I was just distracted by the S-Mart van. Your's rock's! I've been trashing it ever since you first put it up here. I just love it!

Obviously, there's nothing wrong w/ your bear, but you gotta admit its cuteness and cuddliness area bit disorienting, given the subject of this forum and it's dedication to a brutal, cruel game of violence.

Hey Econobrick the van looks great, are the rims wheels a photo or did you model them in that way?

Great work!
