Yeah, it's possible to mass import them from C1 by converting their coordinates into pivots in a 3DS ascii file. Then mass replacing the models in Max and merging into the level. BTW I had made 3D models for the C1 powerups for my Mayan Mayhem port, you may use them if you want.
