Yeah yeah...it was rolling in my mind for some time since i played Far Cry.
So i started today, and this is what i made in 5 hours from nothingness:
And this is what it should look like in the end:
OK, i know Slayer made 2 of these Hummers, but this is different (to me anyways)...give your comments, i would like to know

You're thinking of the H2 POS that GM is selling, this one looks like the original HMMWV(or an H1, which is just the street-legal, luxury car-priced version from AM General).
Anyway, it looks absolutely great! I think you should make a closed version, w/ the doors and maybe the hardtop? The hood looks a bit flat, but that's about it. How many polygons?

Well, the pic below it worked fine just a few minutes ago..humm i think the site is down a bit, never mind that, i attached it
I stick with the hardtop but no doors, because...well i like the idea but Slayer got it with doors you see..maybe i should release also 2 versions? with also a backtop and doors

Its a shame carmageddon 2 can't have normalmapping like farcry does, man this game kicks ass on max detail. I'm just making some islands of my own in the sandbox editor right now

Re: Hummm mmmmm humm!
The wheels look a bit wrong, IMO. look at the other pic, the tires have a much bigger (higher) side and the rims are much smaller/narrower. But maybe you can make one w/ bling-bling wheels too?

Re: Hummm mmmmm humm!
Thanks for the great comments again!
Ok, let me tell you all that i wanted to make it as it is on the pic, but then again i wanted something other then that (its my call anyway hehe).
The "rims" so as it looks arent the rims really...its just one side of a wheel, so that the rim always can be smaller
Update pic ATM:
I'll let skin it like the above ones from far cry if there are any interested

No more editing on the model its all done for me
Take a look:
Now as i promised with doors and a backtop
And i ment that as soon as my car is released will start on a skin that can look like that one from Far Cry...

Re: Hummm mmmmm humm!
Recently got a 1/35 model of it, and often my scale models end up in Carma as add-on, but this time i'm too late.
Like the model anyways.

Re: Hummm mmmmm humm!
I didn't ever care much for the Hummer. But, your model is quite awesome. I am pretty sure that I'll d/l this one when it's available. If for no other reason than to just look at it as it comes at me as an opponent. And the poly count being as low as that makes it a definite d/l coupled with it's appearance.
