This is a great model man. I can see you are getting the hang of it! :) The amount of cars you make in such short time is impressive. Keep up the good work i'd say.

perhaps track making some day? ;)

^^ thanks :) doing a track could also be ultra cool, but as ReVolt, I prefer do several cars first, and then do a track ^^.
I will also, of course, do the other cars from DJ's gang, I have already Wingo, so I just have to convert it for C2
I'll just have to make from scratch Boost and Snot Rod :)

For those who will want to add one or several of my cars on their websites, feel free to do, just let me know ^^

Harm already told you what I was about to say :)

You've really progressed (I esp. look at the tech/completeness side of things uh). Great amount of detachables indeed!

Keep it up :]

Besides tracks you can also make peds uh :B That's one of the big differences between Re-Volt and Carmageddon hehe

Hehe thanks for those comments :)
Thta's right peds could also be fun to do ^^, and I already know by who I'll begin :D, but if you have any tutorials to show me to manage those peds

BTW, the 2nd gang member is arrived, it's... WINGO!
It's there :

Making new peds is rather straightforward actually.
I guess you're thinking about Lara Croft as a first ped mode? Anyway you must just sever the model in as much parts as there are in a normal C2 ped and place these limbs in the same position as the C2 peds as well (the animations expect them to be placed like this).
The rest is pretty much paperwork.

Thanks Halogaland, you have made my son very very happy as DJ, Wingo, and boost are his favourites. If you do Snot Rod as well, It will be difficult to get him of the computer. Keep up the good work.

That's a pleasure to see you here, what is your next project? I really love your cars (even if they are High Poly and make my game lag XD, but doesn't matter haha)

Hi! Halogaland, I have not been in front of my computer for ages as I had to work abroad for about 5 weeks. Firstly I have a promise to keep to Razor, and I'll do that soon. I would like to release something soon that I was working on a while ago, but my time is very limited at the moment so we will see! I might post some W.I.P's over at CWA.
Thanks PTP

So, now, I really want to do cars for C1, because I see there's not a lot of cars, maybe because it's harder.
But tell me, if you know, all the programs I must have and if you have any tutos that can help me, or those who do cars for C1, please, make me a short tuto, just send me a PM or a mail at halogaland@orange.fr

Oh and an other question, is CarED a must? Or I can use BeMax for C1 cars too? And Plaything 2 isn't required for C1?

and If I have always used BeMax, it's because CarEd doesn't work for me, so I have read the ReadMe, and when I searched the error, I had this message :
Microsoft Windows XP [version 5.1.2600]

at ASCEd.(CarEd.java:84)

what is the pb?

I have imported the car in C1, BUT, I have a pb, it's flying in the air, and the wheels are not rotating around their center.
I have uploaded the car : http://www.mediafire.com/?jqhzooht34ujo8t
As I said, I've modelled in an other program than CarEd and I used BeMax, maybe the pb comes from here :(

If you use a newest java programs, don't forget to install the latest java runtime if they fai. For java3d look into page at https://rr2000.cwaboard.co.uk/pc-files

Take the time to follow the Deep Blue tutorial step by step. Problems often come when people want to go to fast or skip a step, so again, please take your time to read and understand every step.

Forget about CarEd. If you can use another modeller, it would just be a retrograde step.
Also there is much more to C1 car making than what Deep_Blue stated. C1 is much more sensitive to actors than C2 and this is probably why you have these flying components.
All your meshes must be centered on 0,0,0 in PT2 and the actors put back in place. The bounding box must be made when the main component is centered on 0,0,0 as well.
Actually just import an original C1 car in PT2 with its ACT file first and then only the DAT file. You'll get the difference directly.
Making a really proper/correct C1 addon isn't easy.

Also if you're going into C1 editing, I'd prefer you open a topic in the C1 subforum to discuss the matter there.

Okay thanks a lot tosh,
The fact is that, I didn't succeeded in understanding Deep Blue's tutorial, as I'm french, there's surely some things that I missunderstand...
So I'll take care of what you'll tell me on C1s topics :)

Edit :

The thing that is really easier for me, it's to have a tutorial with explaining images (as for the PT2's and bemax's Tutos)
