LOOK !! - Carma 2 - NEW Windows XP patch !!?!

Post by toroid »

Has anyone noticed that there is a patch available for download here ?

It says that it's been up since 16/07/2003. I tried it on my setup (I run windows 2000) and I was not able to get it to run. GODDAMMIT!!

Does anyone have a windows XP machine that can try this out and tell us if it works??

The download consists of a new "carma2_hw.exe", you just replace the old file with this new one.

I don't understand why the patch would work on Win XP but not work on Win 2k.

just get the CD crack one. You don't need a patch to do it, that one works AND you won't need the CD anymore!. (it's on 1 of the main sites - can't remember which one)

But you can't use a controller with the nocd crack.

Could someone with windows XP please try this new patch from SCI and tell me if it works?? That's all I want to know.

The New Patch, doesnt allow you to use a joypad running Direct 3D mode within XP, I personally dont see any difference between the patches that are already out..eg @ Planet Maim and Wasted! with the so called *new* from SCi, apart from the carma_hw.exe is smaller ?

so, the patch yes works for Windows XP, but doesnt allow Joypad use!!

Hmm, interesting. When I unplugged the controller it worked fine. Damn. Oh well, there go my hopes and dreams. Maybe I should just break down and learn to play using the keyboard.
