Indeed a very nice remake of the riviera. The original has always been my favorite in C2, but this will be a very nice replacement. I am also very fond of the rear end of the car and the color tinted windows.

You should change the nek colour of the driver though. I suppose the entire driver is a skelleton and not just the head.

Hi, I thought about that, but maybe this could be an option?

A very muscular neck.

Oh! and here is another shot of the rear.

Man, can't wait to drive this car. I like the stripped off skin look on the neck.

I'll add this to C22C2.html soon along with Halogaland's recent releases.
I must give this thing a go though.

EDIT: Wow, this thing looks brilliant!

Impressive stuff Pip. I dig the animated flames on the exhausts and the interior detail (texture and modelwise)

I noticed that the steering is a bit direct though, and the car 'feels' very light, while you would expect it to handle like a heavyweight vehicle...

Holy...
You're making quite a name for yourself around here Pip, and rightly so! The speed you work at combined with the quality of your releases is just :supercrazy:

The Blood Riviera was one of my favourite C2 cars. Thanks for a brilliant remake.

Wow! that makes me feel good. Thanks everyone for the comments, I had so much fun making this  that if I have the time I will make another remake of a C2 car. Little clue, It's pink or maybe purple or maybe

@Harm: I wanted to put Dr Martens on him, and when I found the Union Jack ones I thought "why not" they looked cool, and also as I am a Brit who is an ex-pat I thought a little bit of home would be nice.

Also, Thanks Coffey and N3wton for hosting.

Cheers.

I only have one complaint, Whys there nos tanks in the back? nos takes me to images of need for speed fast and furius and such, ok well peronally nos is not for me, but if you do want to include it all i have to say is there too damn huge, and they look more like propane tanks, only nos tanks ive ever seen sit in the corner of the trunk and are very small,

But, the cars awsome, very nice and high quality seeming, and with that purple piledriver in the works your going to be the Top remake man very soon, cars seem high quality without being amazingly high polly, textures are allways nice, whats there really more to ask for?

Hi Maxine, those NOS tanks were actually going to be blood tanks for Dan, but at a late stage I decided to make them into NOS.

Thanks for comments.

Wow that's cooooooooool!
Remember the checkerboard pattern off-centred down the entire car. ;)

Brilliant work though, mate.

@Razor: I played around with the chequered design but it does not go with this one. Also I have been playing around with different wheels and have come up with this option.

I Know its the purple piledriver but mabye too purple, personally wheels, like the old one with gray, or even black, mabye purple wheels on purple car like it is? i dunno, but those coverd wheels to me just dont work, never use dishes like that on something post 1980 heh

Funny thing is i saw a yellow one of these cars yesterday, what kinda engine do they have cause it looks like a car that would have a v8, yet it dident sound like one?

@Maxine: Hi, those moon disc things didn't last long and this is the latest and last wheel choice

and one more for luck.

Image

P.S: there were three different types of engines, 2 v8's at 4.2 and 4.5 litres, and a 4.0 straight six.

PTP

Since sending this I have finished the car and have sent it to the usual suspects.
