205 GTI + 306
Hi folks! Okay here is the 205 and a 306 that I have been working on. Once again they are not conversions but my own, The 306 I made as a tribute to my old one which i sadly had to sell last year as it was collecting dust outside my home and I also recently found out that it was wrecked a couple of weeks back. R.I.P Froggie
Also I would like to say these cars are the best I can do so I hope you enjoy them for what they are.
So here are some picks and I will send them off To N3wton (Thank you) soon.
Bye PTP

Re: 205 GTI + 306
Hi, thanks for the comments, much appreciated.
Morbid, I use Zmodeler to make the cars. Me and 3ds do not get on very well and I only use it (3ds) to import my models into plaything using the ASC export.
I have now sent the cars off to N3wton so I would imagine soon you will be enjoying smashing them up.
Oh! one last thing, any feedback after you have downloaded the cars would be really handy for me to see how I can improve.
Thanks
PTP

Re: 205 GTI + 306
ok, I downloaded Zmodeler 2 and began to learn how to use it.
for the moment, I'm not really ... comfortable with it.
Hop it'll come with time and I'll be able to create some new cars, eventhough I know they won't be as good as yours. I'm no good modeler.

Re: 205 GTI + 306
ok I'll try it too ^^
for the moment, i'm trying t create a car.
but the hardest thing to have is blueprints view correctly aligned !!
I continue my work, but Zmodeler doesnt work fine on my computer (yes, I've got Vista :/ ) and I've got a lot of display bugs !

I'm trying to create a peugeot partner outdoor teepee (my car in fact)
but t's hard to find good blueprint and on the one I found views are not aligned !

Re: 205 GTI + 306
Hey thanks for these blueprints !
Incredible, these two cars are really similar !!
industrial spying ?
btw, I tried your 205 and 309 and too bad it didn't work on my computer ...
I don't know why, C2 just exit with no error message (except the one from Windows) ...
i just install the car using carstockapocalypse ...
Did I have something special to do ?
I'll show you my model in the next posts ...

Re: 205 GTI + 306
Everyone has there own techniques
But i find making a template of the car you want to make first before modeling always help's
I find that way is a easier process and has always worked

Nice cars PIP!
About blueprints, I modeled all my cars without the use of blueprints (mainly cause i couldn't be arsed to fix it up in CarEd's fixed views). I mostly used about 2 to 3 pics per car to glander at and model what i saw .

Re: 205 GTI + 306
Hi, Thanks TTR, Bollocks. Iam very lucky at the moment as Iam working from home so I can grab 30 mins here or there or if Iam lucky a couple of hours. but soon this will change and I will be back to a normal work pattern.
I plan to do one more car after the Fiat, It is a Ford but not a Mondeo(sorry B) I used to be a Ford man too, but I only like them from the 70's, 80's and 90's I wanted to do a mk3 Escort, as My first car over 20 years ago was one, but The Bollocks made a great one so that saved me from doing it.
So This is my plan. Iam going to make this
Into this
well that is the plan anyway.
