Here I am, digging up an old thread because I want to leave these here:
C1 to C2 Remakes
https://razor.cwaboard.co.uk/conversions/C12C2.html
Splat Pack to C2 remakes
https://razor.cwaboard.co.uk/conversions/SP2C2.html
C2 to C2 Remakes
https://razor.cwaboard.co.uk/conversions/C22C2.html
They are all modified versions of CoffeyCups original C1 to C2 page.
That page can be found here: http://coffey.polygonized.com/C12C2.html
I haven't added any straight conversions (cars without interiors, detachables, etc.).
Still a few things left to do, like maybe remove SoupaVedg's Towmeister as it's the original model, just with bits added.
I'll also be adding ED101's Jet to the C1 page and making a TDR2000 to C2 page and I'll have to make all of the Remade car images link to downloads of said cars, but that will be done some other time.
Thanks~

Wheels courtesy of Harmalarm

I've spent a lot of time on this and it is the first time I've used PlayThing2 during the process of making a car!
I've also twatted this car up (as suggested by Toshiba) using Cesm's Pixies Maker and the TWT Packer.
If you'd like to edit the car, you'll need TWT Unpacker and and CarEd, CarEd will extract the Pixies file.
---
If you choose to mod this vehicle, ask me first for permission to release it (if you want to release it) and if you've used the wheels please ask Harmalarm for permission as they're his wheels.
--Installing--
Install it as you would any other C2 car.
Either with Carstockalypse or by editing your OPPONENTS.TXT
--Added Parts and Features--
-Same handling and weight as the original Piranha
-Many detachables
-Working suspension (took me a while to do)
-Leans when cornering
-Double sided textures (done in PT2) ____________Thanks TTR!
-Simple model
-All of the cars files are twatted
--Problems/Bugs--
-Cannot be snapped
--Thanks--
I'd like to thank every one at the CWABoard for keeping this amazing game alive.
Stainless for making the game.
TTR for his help and feedback on MSN-- I really appreciate all of the help you've given me!
CoffeyCup & C2Scientist for the suspension tutorials.
Harmalarm for letting me use his wheels
--Some useful information--

Re: Remakes!
I made a new thread for this topic. I am not letting you hijack the Beast's APC Tribute thread.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The idea is to select a few favorite cars from Carmageddon 1, and bring them up to date, kinda like what Tosh did with the Cleaver, and what Econobrick has done with the Eagle & Hawk, and Stiffshifter.
All the cars would have a 10 year anniversary logo on them to celebrate the occasion.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I told you already via PM that I purposely did not include all remakes in the car list I started because they did not all fit the criteria and asked you to post yours under a different topic, but you chose not to.

Re: Remakes!
! ! Oh, these suspensions are really good razor. I actually never heard of the shear groove option. Does this work with more 3d meshes aswell? Because u used 2d planes for the suspension part, so I wonder.
Good work man. one point though, the inside camera is a bit awkward, a bit to the back would be better.

Re: Remakes!
Yeah, I noticed the incar camera problem after I released, it was fine but then I moved the model - along the z axis in CarEd and forgot to redo the camera positions, I'm not sure about the suspension it should work with both 2D and 3D models because all it's doing is pivoting the component on one point (as far as I know), so there is no reason for it not to work with more detailed, 3D suspension. The way I did it is the only way I know how to do it at the moment.
On another note:
Autopilot's 70's VW Bus => Flower Plower 2
I'm learning new things as I go along, the 'Blazing Renderer' engine in C2 can so some interesting things.
@Coffey: I apologise for sticking those links into the incorrect thread.
