Old Man

Post by coffeycup »

I was on the train coming home the other day, and this little old man got on.

I glanced up and then did a double-take 'cause he was just so odd looking.

He was 4'11" with a big pot belly with his shorts hiked way up high.

T-shirt tucked into shorts. With a baseball hat and thick rimmed glasses

Sorta like this

Image

What do I say to myself? "What a great ped he'd make".

So this is about as early a WIP as you can get

Ha! Thats just too good, you could be a sketch artist for a Massachusetts precinct. Look forward to seeing the poor bastard forever polygonal-ised to be run over infinite amounts.

Cool! I like seeing the concept drawing turning into actual 3d. The drawing and the model really look like one and other! I cannot wait what it will look like textured and all!

Ya, done it in SketchUp

I think he looks close to the drawing, not exact, but close enough.

What a wonderful, stereotypical ped that is. It looks real good coffey, nice textures, nice body shape. Everything seems in proportion. Good job!

Thanks, actually he wasn't in proportion. Once I got him ingame I saw his lower arms were way too long. Looked like a chimp. He's better now.

Aw crap, I searched through and looked for "zombie" and found walk_normal_zombie.SKL,

I didn't realize there were others. Let me know if there's others I missed.

I've added it to the archive and also added head animation.

I uploaded it the first time and then remembered I had wanted to have the head swap.

Textured in Sketchup. I'm getting better at doing unwrapped. The face is projected though.

First I want to apologize for releasing all these revisions

I uploaded a revised version - last one. This one has a third head model .

I realized that when the face animation runs it only uses the second and third if they're there.

With only one alternate head, it switches to that and then stays on it. Now his mouth opens and closes
