Re: Carmageddon Tribute
Looking excellent! Something just came to mind...Perhaps, if poly-feasible, add a couple of pull switches on the interior ceiling and maybe a car damage indicator on the dash somewhere (if it's not too obtrusive) those types of things the C1 cars' interior views had.
Maybe not such a good idea...anyway, just a thought. :]

Re: Carmageddon Tribute

adr: looking sweet, trully a remake of the original

Re: Carmageddon Tribute
That is pretty much a screenshot. The C1 interiors were 2d images.
Re: Carmageddon Tribute
Wow some uber hot cars here....Wish I could make 3D cars!I have only made a number of semi-low poly starships and thats all......
Re: Carmageddon Tribute
hey sonofaham (or something like that), i started like this back on 2002, making starships and atempt of hman forms, and i ruined a lot of good cars trying to model them... u can model too, if you try and read a lot of tutos. For games, i recomend that u should read a lot of zmodeler car tutos, and some of This guy to learn the basics of milkshape 3d, and start modeling in a hardcore way before 3d max. then u use 3d max and learn the basics.
Re: Carmageddon Tribute
This is what I last worked on in the un-registered version of Milkshape 3D v1.7.0. some time last year...
Re: Carmageddon Tribute
:shock:and u said that u can't model a car... it's fantastic, u're even better than me when i was using milkshape, i still suck at texturing...
just look at my car's texture, it speak for himself...

Re: Carmageddon Tribute
Wow your car rocks!!!!Note. The textures on my warlock are used with permission from the original owner.I only created the name plate tex and the warlock number and the mesh.... Also the warlock still has to be texture mapped properly as it isn't done properly due to milkshape....
Re: Carmageddon Tribute
Still WIP, but I wanted to see what it would look like in-game..and of course found problems. But it is getting closer.

Re: Carmageddon Tribute
Never liked it in C1...but this is pretty great imo. Tell me there's an interior? and we can have a cockpit view through the front "mailslide"?
Re: Carmageddon Tribute
yes to both your questions. Which reminds me I still need to make the cop(s) to drive it.
interior - not done

Re: Carmageddon Tribute
That Cop APC is amazing!!!
I also was re-making that APC but after seeing yours, I've scrapted mine - hey, it was my first Cared car so mine was pathetic in comparrison to this.
Oh and what map is that in the background?
Looks nice, where can I get it from?

Re: Carmageddon Tribute
I'm sorry, but that "cop image" is just too friggin' funny! Mostly because that's how I always imagine cops that drive by. haha

That is truely great
Amazing!!
Looks like its now time to edit the bruise brothers race (I allready have 15 cops, 1 of which is the Suppressor)
Also I'll release my Grungebuster car, no where as good as that APC but if anyone wants it, its attached to my last post in this thread.
