Awesome graphic enhancement!!!!!!

I dont know somebody allready was talkin about it, but there is an awesome easy to use trick to max out the graphic.

i think some people dont know it and i hope after you read this you wanna try and play again the older parts ;-)

1. Go to the DATA folder in the main folder and look for OPTIONS.txt (works on Carma 1, Splat-Pack and Carma II)

2. look for Yon 35.000000 (its possible there is a lower value behind YON) and chance it to 99.000000 as higher the number is more far you can see. (im sorry for my bad english) dont change it to much. Carmageddon 2 runs very instable with more than 150.000000 (on my system). But try it out yourself, you will see the games will look awesome that way.

You can also use options mode to change the yon on the fly. But yes, it's a pretty cool feature.

Yes, increasing the YON can cause freezes in Carmageddon 2 as the game attempts to teleport AI vehicles to a path node outside of YON radius from your car. If no path nodes are available it'll get stuck.

This is especially problematic in smaller mod maps.
