Game similar to the Ruin-Nation concept just released Mad Max RW posted this link in the rant forum.And dig this-I was readin' about their "default" vehicle they call a Badger which just happens to be powered by a "fighter aircraft engine". Then they just plain screw up and say it's got nitrous on it (and the point of putting NOx on a jet engine would be?????) Their character names kinda suck ass, too. Their two main characters are "Fennec" and a midget named "Rewdalf" whoa! Phonics on acid, man... The whole story basically involves badlands/wastelands and Fortified Cities run by an elite bunch. Also has assorted scavenging and vehicle/weapons upgrading type stuff involved. We got some competition, y'all... Yup! Far as I can tell. Whoever designed those cars musta also been the vehicle designer in chief for the show "Thomas the Tank Engine" No, you're not s'posed to know better than vehicle combos like that aren't really possible. At least we keep 'em believeable. 'Sides which, JP seems to have a better imagination than those bastards. From what I've seen of this game, it does appear that irt might be fun. But, it seems to be made for a younger, more naive target clientele. My concept goes beyond that one in many ways. Including being targeted towards a clientele with a bit of blood-lust... I do NOT see them as a threat to Ruin-Nation in the least. Just my opinion...Dean

I agree with you JP, there's no apparent reason to consider this as a threat to our project, same goes for that game "Steel of Haste". They're both close to the idea in wich "Ruin-Nation" is based, but still not close to what we all hope it'll become one day when it comes to gameplay and features

Ruin-Nation would most likely be rated a lot like "South Park" (See the warning before each episode). I dunno-do they have a category for the psychotic and sadistically bent?? Hmm... Mebbe they should.
