This is my latest creation that has nothing to do with Ruin-Nation... It is called Hell Borne. It's actually quite interesting looking & sports the best Motorcycle physics that have yet been used in C2. I hope you all like it.

Looking nice! Are you using the smoothing effects on those red parts? It looks a little strange. Oh look, there's Michael Jackson in the background!

Nah, I haven't used any smoothing. I know that many parts are looking odd or off in the screenshot. But, a pic just doesn't do this one justice... You've got to see it in motion to REALLY gain an appreciation for it!

Civel, that engine was built & textured by Deep_Blue. I'm sure he'll appreciate your compliment!

Savage Elve; Nope. There is no chromy effect (UV Mapping???) utilized on this vehicle... I have not figured out how to utilize that effect as of yet. Maybe one day... In fact, I would have REALLY liked to have been able to utilize that particular effect on one of the latest vehicles I threw together for Ruin-Nation. But, I didn't even know where to start. LOL

Sorry but, I know nothing of using PT2 or even what it is actually used for. I won't be trying that out until I'm satisfied that I can learn nothing else about CarEd.

Once again, Sorry!

Thanks for the motor-kudos, JP. That was a '74 Shovelhead originally made for the Electra-Glide.
Wait'll ya see the '52 Panhead I'm workin' on
74 cubes of Milwaukee thunder on a stretched Amen Savior hardtail frame with a 40" over Springer- Tryin' to come up with a paint job for it now...

I'm probably not the best person hereto try to help. But, I'll give it a shot...

By that error message I would guess that you either do not have the necessary Java files to run CarEd OR you don't have them in the correct place.

If you don't have them, get them. If you do, the correct path is; C:Program Filesjavasoftjre... The rest pretty much falls into place from there.

I hope this helps...

Read the manual, I like that... but yes, that's exactly what I was gonna say. How can people ask questions without reading the readme??
JP: the chrome effect is applied in PT2, all you have to do is double click the material at the bottom, and apply 'smoothing', I think it's called.
Hatebreed: motorbikes in C2 only seems strange b/c they weren't there originally. Have you tried out JP's bikes? They're funky, I am very impressed.
Vampire: patience, the forums are online again now (but for how long?!)
