Open Carma 2 cars in Maya (or other current editor)

Hi

I was modeling a few Carma 2 cars in the absolute beginning when CarEd was released.

I still have the models but is there anyway for me to open them in a modern program like Maya?
Mabye even textured and all?

Nice to see the community is still active after all these years :)

Not directly in Maya, but yes directly in 3ds max. I made a maxscript pack that can do that for you: http://polygonengineer.com/wp-content/u ... 130131.zip
This works with max 2010 and up.

Do you have experience in Maya as you ask specifically for it?

3DS Max will be great, i can export from there.

I am learning Maya at the moment, that is why i ask :)

Maybe i should upload my old vintage cars anno 1999?
