Just a quick topic.
Y'all noticed that the upcoming Carmageddon port for iPad/Android features improved textures for the vehicles and parts of the environments. Actually these textures come from the Gizmondo version.
I already ripped some, they are available in the
RR gallery.
I had planned to use them for Gourmet Carmageddon, but the C1 palette damages them too much. I'll probably use them anyway but not like that.
However they are way cool to update existing C1-to-C2 car ports

Looks great! Would be awesome to use these textures to create a C1 remake in C2, it would be rather redundant though.

All the textures are up now. Just check the Gizmondo gallery.
I updated the original Project-X with the new texture:
And you can compare with the previous textures:
And you can download the update here.

re-read the topic again and i must notice that agent orange, val hella and stiffshifter were also added to the list of hi-res remakes for c1. dunno will the work be continued
btw did't notice suppressor in the gallery though, always wonder why the texture too low-res on this thing
