Request for some classic levels from carmageddon 1 & 2

I absolutely love the track from the Carmageddon demo.

Also, "Totally Twisted" must be in the new Carma!

Blog Discussion

Very nice sketches, both the official and the fan-made ;)

Keep the blog posts coming!

I'd love to read some trivia behind the development of the original Carmageddon.

Player's camera view, man

Cameras in Carma1 & 2 were just fine.

A nice addition could be the Q and E keys to look 90° left & right.

Well said, Donatello.

I also dislike weapons in driving games.

Multiplayer: Fox 'n Hound, one of the best

My buddies and I always play Sudden Death - that's a blast! Tons of fun, especially when we're all grouped together rushing for the next checkpoint and we do the nastiest things to avoid being in the last place.

Cursing and swearing ensues :)

+1

I totally forgot about all the other upcoming games I was waiting for.

Now there's only the new Carma.

Thanks!

The Development of the new game

This is great news, especially in regards to physics!

I don't care too much about the release date, as long as the game will rock.

I've waited many years, I can wait some more as I won't be needing any other games from that moment.

I'll buy at least 6 copies of the game and gift it to my buddies!

Stainless have gone too far this time

I would be OK with everything, but maybe not with an excess of meaningless gore/splatter if it's too detailed. But if it has a meaning in terms of gameplay (like the Cat'n'Mouse bonus in Carma2 for torturing a ped) then go for it.

But, quoting Batwick, the most important thing is the fun fa...

Re: Carma1 - how can I change default gravity?

Re: Carma1 - how can I change default gravity?

Uhm, well, I think that cheats won't alter anything permanently... they should simply give you bonuses and such, right?
What I need is to edit permanently some game settings, and that is usually done by editing TXT files.
I already have done that, tweaking some cars' charact...

Carma1 - how can I change default gravity?

Hello!
I was wondering if it's possible to change the default gravity in Carmageddon. I'd like to try some different settings, to get a little more "grip" for the cars.

I saw a "gravity" setting in GENERAL.TXT, b...

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to add peds/AI cars.

Re: Carmageddon 2 multiplayer

OK, I managed to add/eliminate cars either working on RACES.TXT (it's pretty much the same as carma1, as Bandit said ) or using Carstockalypse by eliminating directly the unwanted cars. RACES.TXT, though, is different from Carma1 because of missions... I used to "comment out" races to take...

Carmageddon 2 multiplayer

Hola!

I was wondering if it's possible to "filter" out tracks and cars from multiplayer games. I've done it in Carma1 editing OPPONENT.TXT and RACES.TXT, but I never played a lot with Carma2, so I don't know if it can be done.

Thanks alot!
