<r>Your concept is awesome, I love post-fallout games like that <E></E><br/> <br/> This one reminds me alot of Midway's Roadkill, a game also based on post-fallout situation, also with various junk-type cars. Ah, wait, I'm confusing it with whomever made a recent remake of the Eagle 1, that one steers poorly because the nose jumps up each time it accellerates.

If I'm not mistaken, on all fast computers these days, Carmageddon has that pedestrian problem. There is no way to fix it but to run the game on an much slower machine (as in, not slowing yours down, but a different computer).

<t>My machine (P4 2.6 Ghz) handles 18 opponents with an occasional pre-race crash (As in, just when the race is being started). But as Toshiba and I demonstrate it really depends on your CPU, Video card and Memory to determine how many opponents Carmageddon II will handle. <br/> <br/> Also, mind you...

About the plane school thing...The airplane you're given (Rustler?) is actually the hardest to fly plane in the game. Everything else is much easier to fly.

I was curious, with rims that big, and with so little room left for the actual tire+air inside...I figured cars with such wheels aren't a very comfortable ride, despite the shock absorbers.
Anyone with a theory on this?

Is it possible for you to release your custom cars directory as well as the opponents.txt file that goes with it? There should be an easy way to exchange things like that

The car looks great. Though, the only thing that sort of I notice is that the grill is very thin, thin to the point a child could kick it in. Make it a bit more sturdy looking? Just a suggestion.

Just wondering, does that site absolutely have to use FTP downloads? Some people, behind firewalls, cannot access the files that way. Is there some alternate place to download these cars? I could set one up if needed.

Playstation Carmageddon 1 cars?
We all know the Carmageddon version on the PS1 is a horrible mutated version of the game we all love, however, there are some extra cars in there that seem rather nice. Has anyone ever attempted to re-create or rip them from that game?

I have Redline and it's...okay. The only exciting mission was wher you had to race to the garage before the car blew up.
Anyhoo, the MMORPG seems nice and I'm sure it'll be fun to play. NCSoft is good at what they do, City of Heroes is fine proof of that.

Very strange, as I usually drive Christine and she's never suddenly exploded on me like that, nor has any standard C2 car.
Note, Christine here is my favorite add-on car, which is Slayer's Plymouth Fury '58, which for fun, I had renamed
