What I think might be happening cause it happened to me was that noncars with only ONE texture on them should be named 01 at the end. But thats why I need a few days. A while ago I had a stroke and got lots of free time on my hands. Forced early retirement :) I started getting back into C2 editing. For some reason I forgot how to get noncars to "react" in my maps and finally figured that out yesterday. So thanks to coffeecup, Toshiba and Harmalarm for that help. ...

BTW I tried to do it one way and I started driving on invisible ground with the map hundreds of feet above me. That looked cool :)

Now if you got some ideas how to get a bunch of the same noncars throughout the map that would help :smile: Or at least some kind of shortcut to save time. One thing I might try later is placing the actual Rock in Max and exporting only that one. That might make the noncar object show up in the corr...

Final Update. IT WORKS !!!!!!! Saving the file multiple times did NOT matter. It still saved fine and compiled fine. Stupid thing was I was copying text from other files and stupidly forgot that PT2 can generate its own noncars.txt file of the object. I would say I fell stupid and blame it on the st...

I just found out another thing not to do.

DONT name the file the same as your path item.

(edit) Dont name the max file or the ASE file the same as the path item name.

I have deleted the code for ASC and MAT creation and fixed the bug in 'object naming' .

dont forget to type in exactly what the path object is. (this time use correct capitalization)

Dont ask me why, but the program is getting buggier. DONT use the ASC maker and the MAT maker.

Use Cesms program, he did alot better than the last beta.

And in the 'path name' box. Try using CAPS for the path named object.

Also I forgot that if you have an untextured object the program crashes.

If any body finds out more reasons it crashes please attach the ASE and ASC file.

the ASC file will tel you where the problem occurred.

I forgot I had the setting at 0.01 for ice .. I kept sliding . I had no traction whatever. LOL.
