Re: C2O OpenGL GUI Test #2

I can only say perhaps your monitor does not support this.
My monitor does support that resolution. That's what I keep my desktop at, actually.

Weird huh.
Good summary.

I'll mess around with it some more and see if I can get it to display properly.

Re: C2O OpenGL GUI Test #2

<t>Hmm. I didn't know that zeckenseck's wrapper was capable of running Carmageddon 2 at 1280 x 1024. I thought it was limited to the default resolution (640 x 480), and then when the "try high res" option is selected, a resolution of 1280 x 960 is produced (by quadrupling the default resolution).<br...

Well, mine looks like this. I set up the wrapper configurator the way you specified. Using version .84c. I'm running under Windows 2000, with a Radeon 9800. Pentium 4, 2.6 GHz. 1024 MB RAM. I played on the first group of maps. You said it should be running at a resolution of 1280 x 1024. Did you mea...

I thought this was interesting, so I might as well share. I did a search for the phrase "Carmageddon" at the US Patent Office site, through their trademark search system. Ok, I found out what the problem was. If I set resolution to "try high res" in the glide wrapper configurator, then I can move the mouse correctly. Also, this runs the game at a resolution of 1280 x 960. Kick ass.

Yeah, all of that neon crap makes my brain itch. That's why I said it would look cool if we could put new models and textures and tracks into it in my first post.

I'm willing to bet that the game's mechanics are really similar to Carma 2.

Novadrome = Beelzebub game engine ?

<t>An idea just crossed my mind. If this Novadrome game uses the Beelzebub game engine, couldn't it be possible to modify the game to be a lot like Carmageddon since the game's engine is basically a revised version of the engine found in Carmageddon 2 ? Assuming that the required parts of the engine...
