You can try to decrypt the text files with CarmagEdit. Just double check that it doesn't mess. It may leave lines starting with @ here and there, just remove them. Tested the vehicles: Dogbite works right away. No driver which is too bad. I would have mapped the front grill from the front rather than from the top. Reminder that you should subdivide the mesh a tad more to avoid perspective distording textures. There are no driver textures from the game these t...

That is correct, though it was quite hard to apply textures in their original format (stretching or shrinking is necessary sometimes). I do not want to interrupt anything, but i tried this a few days ago, and accidentally encrypted everything.

Is there a way around it?

I'm using 3Dripperdx.
I do not know if there are any other programs that can be used to dump textures.

I forgot to mention that some textures from the same game do not have this effect.

I have stumbled onto another problem.

I dumped textures from another game, and they turn up all foggy.
After saving them to a tiff format most of it is gone, but some of it is still there:

Goodday, I wanted to make a few cars with textures from an old playstation game. Don't know if it helps, but i found out when adding certain things to the game step by step that
its not really the addon vehicles that are a problem.

Adding the meldpack data map makes it crash.

I can release the first two, although that tanker is not the most beautiful of vehicles.

The last one cannot be released as it is one of a ten car pack i'm working on.
And one of the cars its obj file got overwritten by mistake.

I use the steam version with the data folder from the meldpack but also using the sound folder from the first demo. Then i install addon vehicles (a few including self made, from rr2000 and mastros download page...

After i finished a race an want to choose another vehicle, as soon as i hit enter to select the game crashes and dies.

Do both vehicles crash the game?

I checked the rar and as far as i can see nothing for maybe except the impaler grid image is missing, but it uses the standard impaler image.

Nice work, the mod for LeadPumper is a cool idea. I noticed you stretched the bounding box to the extend of the front tubes. I would have left the original bounding box untouched but added extra collision points along the tubes (two per tube). And maybe one per side armor plate thing. For the truck...
