All most of us wanted was the original Carmageddon updated to today's graphics right?

They could've done that in way less time, with way less people, costing way less money.

But noooo, they had to make it BIG! Wasting way too much money and time and this it what happens.

Yup, me too. Uninstalled my GOG Max Pack and added the Carmageddon Gift to my Steam Library. Then Carma 2 suddenly appeared in the list as well.

I can hardly believe they're parallel developing for 3 different platforms. Usually a game is developed on 1 platform and then ported to others once it's finished.

Yeah, frame rate is very low for me too.

I'm running Fraps to check the framerate during gameplay and it often drops below 30fps.

I've got all graphics options turned to either low or off (No AA).

I'm a bit worried about the physical game on DVD.

Now that they've decided to make this release way more than a "fan release", I'm afraid the DVD will be available in every store all over the country. I decided to pledge $150 just so I could get the DVD. Any word on this?

Sure, the more money you're able to get, the better. It's just that a lot of people (including me) had to cancel other things to be able to meet the deadline. And certain items (like the boxed game) could now become much less unique because anyone who's paying $150 in the next monhs can get one....

OK well then, if you go to the nGlide configurator you can choose any output resolution you want. For some reason, it doesn't play full screen when you set it to "By desktop" so choose your native monitor resolution from the drop down menu and it should play full screen.

Has anyone succeeded in playing Carma and Splat Pack with nGlide and anti alias? I know version 0.97 does support anti alias but it's not working for me (nVidia). Should I add 3dfx.exe and carmav.exe in the nvidia control panel and override anti alias settings? 'Cause that's what I've been t...

My bad. I've never had the Splat Pack but since it contained the 3Dfx patch I was assuming it contained the W95 version as well.
