The latter option, using an emulator and dumping the textures, has worked well for me in the past (for the destruction derby mod), so I would try that first

Sweet mod man. Where did you get the model? I remember trying all kinds of things with the material flags, but could not find anything hidden back then. Perhaps it can still be done with some hex editing... nice find for the funks by the way!

Really digging the skin Tosh. It looks a lot more bad-ass instead of vanilla. Kind of funny to see some of the textures used from the tracks :)

What an awesome monster truck. Guess it has been riping these 10 years for someone to finally digest it. Love the texture work too. Tires look awesome and the van itself looks very crispy. It's surprising how well these two games fit together. Nothing looks out of the ordinary. Those dev-tool shots look cool too. I never knew we had access to those.

Oh sorry DB, I misread your question.

You can of course use the cockpit or bumpercam to set it up behind the car, but then it will not rotate along when steering. Best do as Tosh suggested
