I bought the UK budget version of Carma 2 this morning, but I can't get it to work in D3D or 3DFX mode. It works fine (but looks *cough* awful) in SW mode.
I've trawled through the forum here for help, and I've tried most of the usual things (I tried the fixed EXE's, clearing out any resident programs, lowering my desktop resolution etc), but nothing is helping
I've tried swapping some of the demo files in to the full version(the bdd files and the launcher), but no success there either (I have now reverted to the correct full version files).
I downloaded the v1.1 patch and the v2.0 blood patch to no avail.
Overall, not a good morning on the C2 front
I'm hoping to get into making cars and stuff, but I want to be able to play the darn thing first.
Below is the error message I get in the nice friendly Windows pop-up.
Interestingly, this occurs as soon as I press the "Launch" button, before the movie and the front end loads, but loading is NOT interrupted. I can get to the GUI and change settings and stuff, but when I try to start a game it CTD's.
I tried it out on my other machine (same video card and drivers), and it works fine.
