C2 Arcade Trainer
boglavius created C2 Arcade Trainer on Mon May 28, 2007 4:55 am
Hi all,

I have just rediscovered Carmageddon II and have started to wonder if i could get it to play the way I remember C1 was. So I did some research and ended up with a trainer (my first ever).

What it does is increase tyre grip (as the gri-o-matic cheat does, but by a smaller amount) and gravity. You can set them independently or together, to your wish.

I have created the patch for UK 2.0 blood version I found here .

I use it with dgvoodoo glidewrapper so the patch only works with Carma2_Hw.exe.

The game really rocks now (remember, the variables still change with modifiers (powerups, etc.) so you have to repress the hotkeys every time those get modified. This is why the global changer is shift+A; for me shift is repair and A is accel so I press those a lot

Yahoo keeps blocking my trainer (stupid NAV detected a virus). Gmail works.

I scanned with an up-to-date NOD32 and no such thing, but please, do your own scans.

Thanks much, any idea on what you're gonna make next?

Well, I tweaked and tweaked and tweaked some more the last couple of days and found what I belive is the best balance between the two variables - gravity and grip. I was aiming for something similar to my other favourite racing game: NFS: Porsche Unleashed (or 2000).

Well, now my trainer arrived at it's final version 1.1, up for grabs here.

As for what I plan to do next...well just play the game. I think it's so much better now. I will also give c1 a rerun since it's still the best.
