Maya Magnificense Hotel

I've placed a lot of pinetrees and lantarnposts on the Mayan Hotel level today. Cobined with the old desert-grass it looks really good in my oppinion. The map also has some vertex lighting. Here are some images

Look closer my friend, and you'll see that it is the snow version of the map  And the desert grass still suits the snow textures very well.
(maybe you mean that the radar is still the old version, that is correct yes)

Okay, long time since the last update. I actually needed a little break, and have been very buzy with school and such. Anyway, I started placing objects in the map again today. Also I've experimented more with the enb series mod, and it runs pritty sweet now.
That was nice...You guys were very creative..
I suppose you mean, Are creative? :D

Well finally I finished a BIG architectural project for college... Gave me a lot of stress in the end, but I managed to complete it with a good grade. So now I finally have some free time again! :)

I've placed a lot of objects today, including all the lantarns and signs for the highways. The highways look a lot better now, allthough I think they're a little to low-poly... With the knowledge I now have I can create highways that look a lot better, but knowing the time it took me to make these makes me leave them... :D

anyway, the beaver mountains, beaver woods and the el morte desert now have all objects and breakable glass where needed. :)

enjoy the screens.

Well I believe I've placed allmost all objects now... It was a hell of a job, but the map looks a lot better lately. More lively, a lot more realistic. Especially with the pedestrians and the traffic driving around, the whole thing is coming to life finally!

I'll now be finishing up the final details of the map. That is; placing parked cars, unique stunt jumps, teleportation locations and maybe weapons?!?

I've also discovered a way to get animated textures ingame, so I might change some of the commercial signs and billboards to animated ones. not sure though...

no pictures today, i'm thinking about making a promo movie...

AWMYGAWD :zomig:, anyway what i would to suggest is to put also traffic in the area's where they aren't seen in the video, like that knight's castle for example, it just looks quite empty heh..can you adjust the density for traffic for specific area's?

ehrm, yeah, I can adjust the density. But the you have three scales like very dense/normal/and very little. I've putt all traffic at normal level now, but when I go one scale down, there is really little traffic... :(

I've gotten traffic pretty much everywhere actually. Just not at the nerbergsring race circuit, the sky maps and the abandoned ice station. Pretty much everywhere else there is traffic and peds. and I thought the castle was more a pedestrian area, that's why i have little traffic there and more peds. :)

There will be a teleport taking you from the devils canyon mining town up to the mining complex.

For the cars I'm thinking of converting the most known and best cars from carmageddon. I'll start of with the eagle 3 first, and see what other cars I can do. But I was thinking of all the eagle's, the hawk 1 and 2 and perhaps some of the bigger ones like the plow, or screwie.

the cop cars need to be changed of course... would be cool if the surpressor would chase you wouln't it?

Hmmm, well, I haven't really prepared for another release. I cán upload the files that I currently have, but that will really not give you any new game play. Just all traffic and trains and teleport shit.

Eh, I will take a look at how to create an auto installer and I will try to release the current stuff before Christmas. I'm also a bit busy with my graduation project, so I have to puzzle with time etc.
