Well actually, so far the ingame action looks pretty much the same.
The final version of CarmaLife2 will probably be more interesting to make videos as it will include ChevyII's new physics, and the new levels ofcourse.
Oh and welcome ofcourse :)

Status update :

No surprise here, I totally went for the HL2 sobriety. The boxes use a color code to differ from eachother. The APO powerups just got higher res and more metallic.
Updated todo list for the next release :
- Finalize the new menu, make the new "tranparent" windows/forms (see what I mean?)
- Change some text if necessary
- Change flame effect
- Speed up explosion effect
- Change the flesh chunks
- Add some 3D content after all (peds, cars...)
[edit] - Ah... the installation document ofcourse, probably in PDF
I'm not sure when I'll be done with all that 'cause I've less and less free time :errr:

Oh, thank Max this site finally worked! There was a long period when I couldn't open the site. Everytime I was seeing a message that the website cannot be found on the server. :( Finally, it's on already. :)
So, is that mode released already?

Bumping topic...
CL2 now has a custom version of Zeckensack's Glidewrapper integrated.
It will help newbies not to have to mess with the settings etc. Read best default settings already setup.
It will also reduce the amount of installations before actually playing the game.
It will use separated settings file, so you don't have to worry about a conflict with the vanilla GlideWrapper.
In few words : install CL2 then directly play in hires mode. Even newbies.
This will be available in the next version.

Bumping the topic...
The mod will be renamed, logo will be changed, design will be more centered on C2 than HL2 (quite illogic after all).
As the mod will probably be released in late 2008, I guess a good name would be C2 : 10th anniversary or similar.

It is stated in the installer that it can take a long time to extract depending on your comp config.
It is also stated in the mod release thread.
Also the installer stays quiet when the extraction is done so you might have not noticed that it is completed.
This long time comes from the high compression method used to pack the mod.
Anyway, here's the mod compressed with WinRAR :

Don't forget to read the Readme.

Oh, it's a pity I can't enjoy it. Runs with ~10 FPS! lol !
Carma 2 Retail runs flawless, but not with the Carma Life Mod. I don't know what seems to be the problem...I don't get it.
*sigh.

Dunno if it's the video card but...yeah..probably. I have a XGI Volari V8 Duo Ultra. It's equivalent to ~Radeon 9800 Pro, so that shouldn't de a problem but there are some driver issues with games on this card... Oh, well...

Thanks Toshiba! If I run into any problems getting this to work i'll let you know :nyaha:

LOL @ Rampage, i've never heard of that card :uho: Must be your countries exclusive? BTW it is indeed pretty low for what you're getting, as this has stuff in it that's higher polied then default C2.
