Nice work on the model itself. Those textures ruin it for me.

If you get this thing released (assuming it's got all the necessities for C2) it can be added to http://r.carmajunkies.com/conversions/C12C2.html

Yeah sure! :D
For the textures, I was also thinking that, I'll do a normal texture

With the newest textures :

The LowPoly will simply be the C1 model, with it's textures.

That's pretty nice, one thing though, why can you see back of the front right wheel behind the radiator fan?

Instead of making the engine opaque as in C1, I decided to have a really remodelled thingy, there I mean to have a more realistic thing. I can change the texture if it's really a problem ;)

I don't know if its a problem per se, just a little distracting.

What about just putting a wall behind the fan using the undercarriage texture so you can't see through to the opposite side of the car?

A wall like the original of C1? Would be odd IMO. I think I'll rather change the texture behind the wheels, like a texture which shows the behind of the rim + a brake disc

I was just thinking of the easiest solution. I don't want to belabor this, but maybe I'm not clear on what you're trying to accomplish.
Is it a straight C1 to C2 (which Jester already did years ago) or is it to be an updated version like people were doing here?

If so, then there should be a hood/bonnet that opens with a motor that has a groove on it so it rocks side to side and an engine compartment with firewall and wheel wells so you can't see the inner side of the wheels.

I'm not trying to be a total shit, there's just certain things we've come to expect from model makers.

I'll shut up now and crawl back to my cave...

I'm doing like the other people who did higher version of the original C1 cars.
You advised me to make the inner hood to be not transparent, but when I took a look on the C1 intro, I noticed that :
Image
We can see better when we look directly the video :P
We clearly see by the light (not the front lights lol, but the reflective light from the Eagle) that we can see through the inner hood. That's why I'll keep the LP as it is, and surely I'll change the behind textures of the wheels.

But don't worry, you don't have to shut up AT ALL :D, advises are always welcome :P

What about the Cullwing? She's done! :B
Also, the Bear should probably say Econobrick/TTR (as it is based on the Lada I made)

Thanks Razor ;)

My New WIP : Peroxodisulfa Acid

It's a totally original thing, looks a bit like a Hot Wheels toys :

Image

Image

And also, as I've perfectly understand the WAM file working, I've made scratches to all parts (expect wheels) :

Image

Image

And last I've also understand how worked the GROOVE parts

what do you think?

Umm, I don't know. Why do the scratches cover the entire car? They should be strategically placed.

I thought it could be like that due to the number of rollovers that the car could do :p

The textures are far better than what you originally had, I still hate the smashable textures though. Never been a fan of smashable textures though.

I did smashable textures because I thought it was more realistic, and even if it's not a realistic game XD, I'd like to have smashable textures. And it took me a long time time to do them :x

BTW, I'm doing a high poly version of the fearari F666 for Trackmania :

The F666 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh thank you !! thank you !
That's a model I would like to do in the past but failed because of lack of patience to create models in 3D (getting old is not a good thing  )
This look really great from now !!
