Here's what I have done so far, I'm just showing files of my desktop related to it.

In a text document I'm using for scale...

Arlington Dimensions (Rail to Rail)

Height: 500 FT

Width: 250 FT

Straight Away height: 265 FT

Loop Height: 117.5 FT

Arlington Dimensions (Down Middle)

Track Length: 1,180 FT

The tif picture I'm using to make making easier...

Image

That's all so far!

Now if only I didn't get distracted so easily.

That is looking very good. That looks like the Arlington I've seen in pics.

Image

Only thing I'd change is putting better textures on the buildings.

The spectator stands look more metal and glass than concrete

Those link you supplied for Owlerton are great. The MSN maps aerial view andbird's eye view are perfect.

If Husky needs a break, mebbe I'll try making Owlerton.

Re: Map Requests

please do coffey, would be epic ingame with the post and wire, the track itself is smooth as its shale and for the banger meets they put a cover over the dog track which is supposed to be white but it has a lot of dust on from the bangers, also there is a small kerb all the way round the track (because a lot of drivers break their axel or steering by hitting the wheels side on with it) hope this helps, good luck mate and thank you

Thanks, I really hate modeling real things.

If you do it, I could get you a picture to model off of, and some dimensions!

I used the aerial view to trace out the shapes like you did for Arlington.

I wanted to rough out the big shapes and then ended up working on the fencing.

Looks epic Coffey! remember the fence posts need to stick out slightly so cars catch on them, sorry if you have done that already, couldn't quite see on the pic lol

They are flush, not sticking out now. But I can still edit easily.

Of course the dumb AI opponents will always get stuck on them if they're sticking out.

You sure that I should change it?
