He'll be missed, that guy was a legend.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin
Darn. I remember watching him. I did like him.
Though Bollocks is probably right. I know many people who though he was too crazy for his own good.
But it was nice he was also helping the wildlife.

From what that page says, he died in one of the least crazy expeditions he's done... Ironic?

Apprently there has been only 2 known stingray deaths in Oz ever. They are usually a placid creature.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin
In an even more ironic twist, it was just mentioned on CNN that the stingray was not even the focus of what they were filming. Apparently, it was burried in the sand and they startled it somehow.
Steve Irwin was a first-class entertainer, a first-class conservationist, but above all, a first-class family man. His shows were always very amusing and educational, even if they were mostly for the kids, I still enjoyed them.
He'll be sorely missed

I don't think I can miss someone who's willing to risk the life of a baby.

Re: RIP Steve Irwin
I dont think its all that bad, i mean..
1: Its HIS kid
2: He must know what he is doing...he wasnt bitten/eaten to death by a crocodile now is it
I've seen pure death and gore...this is nothing
Anyway what i mean is, look at where the baby is, if there was something gonna happen he (steve) was bitten first
And no he wouldnt drop the baby, its HIS kid afterall

Re: RIP Steve Irwin
look, your obviously looking at the wrong point, the point is during the STUNT with the fucking
childs life was in DANGER.
Its not this mans fault if he thinks its fucked up that he put the babies life on the line
just for some stupid stunt, get over it
besides, every one dies even you, its called "the circle of life"
every one has to deal with some one dying sooner or later.
so technically this ain't a big deal

Oh? ok, thanks mate. It was not my intention to start a fight by writing that, its just my opinion, you'r free to think whatever you want.
Ok, now thats just stupid. Neither me or Apex wanted the man to die.

You know, there is probably nowhere else but here that a fight would break out on a Steve Irwin thread. For God sake, leave the man to rest in peace.
