Where the coords are for the car's "chase camera?"
I've made a big truck and would like to back it's point of view up some from the truck so I can see the neat taillights I made work.

Re: Can somebody tell me...
all the way at the bottom:
Code: Select all
// start of keyword stuff
CAMERA_POSITIONS
0, 0.24, -0.37 // bumper position
0, 0.24478, -0.05768 // cockpit position
// End of keyword stuff
END
Re: Can somebody tell me...
OK thanks, but those are the front bumper and cockpit view settings.
The one I'm referring to is the default "following" or "standard" cam.
The one that looks at the rear of the vehicle.

Re: Can somebody tell me...
Sadly we don't have access to that coord
I guess the best you can do is opening Data\GENERAL.TXT and fiddle with the first Hithers value and the Camera angle one.
Most probably increasing the Camera angle actually.

Oh sorry DB, I misread your question.
You can of course use the cockpit or bumpercam to set it up behind the car, but then it will not rotate along when steering. Best do as Tosh suggested
