Some strange blur effect

Post by Razor »

This is not a problem at all but has anyone else had this.

In-game it looks blurry and all of the edges are sharp and jagged.

Image

But once you go into action replay and press shift everything becomes sharp and beautiful.

Image

But it only becomes sharp when pressing shift in action replay.

Anyone else noticed it?

(BTW both pictures look worse than they should because they are jpegs)

I've noticed the same thing some time ago.

It'd be so cool if the game was this kinda sharp all the time.

I'd really like to know if there's any option to actually play with this kind

of 'HD'-graphics in playmode... maybe with !dgvoodoo! or glidewrapper options?

ANYONE, PLEASE HELP!!! :suicide:

This would be the look to kill  So freakin sharp you can read the -FORD- without

zooming it in that much... :supercrazy:

Do you guys use dgVoodoo or GlideWrapper?

Is there any option in the settings of dgVoodoo

that can solve my blurry graphics problem? :techsupport:

Your freakin SHARP N CLEAN graphics are THE SHIT!!! :supercrazy:

One says you better don't touch a running system, but in this

case I'D LOVE TO DO IT!!!

About the sharpness, you got to have a pretty new machine (from 2007 and up) to enable the most out of your videocard to use both AA on 16x and AF on 16x. This makes the edges smooth and the textures sharper.

nVidia Geforce4 4200Ti AGP8x

Yeah, not the latest shit you can get but it still

works fine for my purposes...

well...actually it's too advanced already, because

the REAL NFS games (NFS1-NFS5) won't run without

a fight... or even just run...

I have the exact same card in one of my old systems, that'll be why it looks the way it does, I was using the very same card in the two screenshots at the start of the thread.
