Nope, just tried different resolutions. No change.

I've also been trying different combinations of the other settings. Again, no change.

If more info would help, just let me know.

Hmmm...let me see...

ASUS V9520 graphics card w/ NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 & 128mb, on an ASUS P4S800-MX Motherboard.

My OS is WinXP Home, version 2002. I have 512mb RAM and a HP Pavilion v70s monitor.

My guess is that you have the refresh rate set too high, try setting it to something like 75 or 70.

Also, try enabling vertical sync.

And what CPU do you have?

Also, what version of the glide wrapper are you trying there? - when I tried it I had about 3 times as many games as that. Could it be you're using an older version?

try running it in 1280x1024. that always seems to work for me

(my settings) Also, make sure to have the "Application specific overrides" check box

checked when applying the settings

Yeh, I had an older version, as you can see in my screenshot, but I went and got the newer version, as Apex has.

I also made a few changes to the settings of Carma2, including resolution & refresh rate.

There was no change. It won't work and I still get that error.

As for my CPU, I don't really want to say, but I will.

It's an Intel Celeron 2.0 GHz.

Try a different wrapper.

I use dgVoodoo with no problems. (And it lets me use 1600x1200.)

Look at the "Running C1 using a glide wrapper" thread in this forum. Setup is basically the same but you just need to choose windows rather than DOS and you don't need VDMsound.

It's...fucking...beautifull!

djVoodoo did the job! Works like a charm! Thanks very much!

Not only do I now have C2 in high-res, but it runs better and I have the fog effect!

Here's a screenshot. Doesn't show a whole lot, but I seem to like it.

Does that DjVoodoo work with Win98 (Yes, I still use '98, and I'm proud to do it! :P)

I took a look at the read-me. Says it does.

Nothing wrong with using 98, it's still good. Besides, not all the old programs work well(or at all) on XP.

That whole white thing looks odd, yet, interesting. I see you also happen to be in the ski track.

I'm glad I read this post. I had and old version too, couldn't get that to run in hi-res.

With the 082B version I finally can, and my cursor is no longer confined to the upper left quadrant of the screen.

What a difference!!!!
