Getting TDR cars out of TDR
As far as I understand, for the TDR2000, SCi made cars in 3DS Max and then converted them. And of course they never thought of making the reverse... Has someone found a way to get the TDR2000 cars back into 3ds models? There are people wanting to convert them to other games, but how to do it?

Getting TDR cars out of TDR
Indeed there's no other choice than remodelling them from scratch. Then unwrapping the map manually etc. I guess a coder like Errol could have easily created a little converter seeing he's been able to convert a whole track from TDR to C2. But he's not around anymore.
Our only hope is that 3D Ripper DX get support for DX7 games. Then we'll be able to port everything to C2 easily.
