Wow, I did find them, I am uploading them back to LOD currently. should be up in a few.

Try http://tutorials.lod3dx.net

I should make and post some of the newer stuff, it has some stuff on UVW mapping, but I do almost every bit of that differently.

What version of 3ds max are you using?

well... I guess that will work for you, there is alot of redundant steps in those tutorials. Kinda why I wanted to get another stab at it.

Unless you are making cars for C2, Max 5 will not export to TDR (FYI)

yes, i'm making a c2 car, and i'm using milkshape3d to export to asc, because he reads the 3ds file with smooth groups and texture maps. that's why i'm mapping in 3d max

You do know I made a tool called BeMax, which converts 3ds files to C2 Dat files?

Did you know there also excist ASE2ASC? Made by Cesm which converts an exported ASE file from Max and converts it to ASC which PT2 can read? Keeping all the materials coords and some more advanced stuff

Not trying to push Bemax away or something it's still a great tool, i just can't work with it..getting an error too, so i find ASE2ASC easier.

VERY nice car... Perhaps a few more polys in the wheels, but very nice indeed.
