MAX-Pack 1.13f download
User avatar
Deamon created MAX-Pack 1.13f download on Sun Mar 12, 2006 11:54 am
Main url:

Download links:

MAX-Pack 1.13f

305.76 MB (320,617,714 Bytes) Follow link for more info.

This version includes full Nosebleed Pack. It is recommended to install the pack on a clean, full install of TDR2000.

TDRLauncher 1.13 (stand-alone) NB

16.64 MB (17,453,216 Bytes) Follow link for more info and screenshots.

This is a stand-alone version, only for Nosebleed versions of TDR2000 (pack or patch). TDRLauncher is included in the MAX-Pack, the two versions are exactly thesame, only the updater script is different. A blood patch is included (explains the size) but you can keep zombies if you want.

Depending on feedback i will update the pack if necessary. This version is finished but due to lack of feedback from most testers I can't be sure. Feedback and suggestions are more than welcome.

A skin pack is on the way, a first add-in for TDRLauncher also. I will release a MAX-Pack without NBPack later.

Dank u ,

Actually i have kept most of the skins that were replaced (like your toyota skin) because they are better (in my opinion) than the originals. The VW Beetle skin is included but not set standard and I replaced several other skins like with the HawkMK4, NivaBronto, SkylineGTR and the PowerWagon, because they are simply better. All skins included are paked also to save some space, i forgot how many there are.

If anyone has skins that should be included in the skin pack, let me know. Skins for original TDR cars also welcome.

Dude, i dont know if its me or the service but when im about to 16%-ish the speed is so slow it would take me 5 days lol...and that for an 8mb connection...
Tony on Wed Mar 15, 2006 3:54 pm
"when im about to 16%-ish the speed is so slow it would take me 5 days"

Sounds similar to when sending stuff via MSN. Can't seem to get a direct connection that works. With some people it works though.. Weird shit.

Almost 36 hours of dl later ... 61%

Yes, it's a bit long

A Rapidshare link could really be the solution ...
ApeX__ on Fri Mar 17, 2006 9:44 am
I'm not having any issues with download speeds,

started the DL five minits ago and I'm already at 72%

I tried this out last night(bout 1 hour d/l).

I'm surprised by the content! I know I haven't been part of the TDR community for a long time(only got it a while ago), but I haven't seen many of these vehicles released/previewed here at CWA. I also haven't seen many of them at web sites. Whats the cause for this?

However, the real question is, will this motivate more people to play more multiplayer? I haven't played this much online and it's been quite some time since I played a good multiplayer driving/racing game.
codemonkey on Fri Mar 17, 2006 2:55 pm
thank dude these things are needed to keep tdr alive.
[M[]M]Wolverine on Fri Mar 17, 2006 5:12 pm
This is what most people i have spoken to want for TDR (since years LOL). Good work! I'll be downloading it for sure. Makes life easier, and the game more fun!

If you would ever like extra hosting for the pack then let me know, i'd be happy to put it in my TDR2000 section.

Deamon on Sat Mar 18, 2006 1:08 am

I hope it runs well on all machines because it can get unstable sometimes which requires to start a new game. Like I said, no real in-depth testing has been done so this is kind of beta.

Extra hosting is always welcome .

Also, the rapidshare mirror is up:

Part 1 (18.7 Mb)

Part 2 (95.7 Mb)

Part 3 (95.7 Mb)

Part 4 (95.7 Mb)

Thanks, i've uploaded it to my site this afternoon. It's on the TDR2000 page number 2: http://tdr2k.gamingsource.net/momv3/tdr2000_files.php?showPage=2

Ive just installed the max pack in a while ago and I have a question.

Why do the new cars only show up on the first race of new game then they are

all gone completely even if I try to go back to the first race they are still gone

unless I do a new game?

I think what you mean is that the new (add-on) cars do not appear as opponents in Mission mode and/or Free Driving mode. I have noticed this too and I have been updating the (somewhat outdated) TDR FAQ (here) to include such questions.

This is what I have on the subject but I don't know for sure if these are the causes of these problems:

Q: Add-on cars do not appear as opponents in Mission mode and/or Free Driving.

A: In Mission mode, add-on cars start appearing as opponents after you have completed a few environments. For Free Driving I don’t have an explanation, cars seem to be randomly chosen, but the original cars have a far greater chance of being chosen.

Q: Original cars do not appear in the garage in Free Driving mode.

A: Load a game, return to the main menu and select Free Driving. The original cars that you have bought in Mission mode should be available now.

If someone has a better answer to this problem, let me know. Also: if you use a completed savegame, this problem is less likely to occure (I think), I'm playing through the game again right now to understand the problem better. The full updated FAQ (based on the original) is attached to this post in .doc format (zipped), I'm still updating but this is what I have right now.
Dark_Angel on Sun Mar 19, 2006 5:47 am
if you manualy add all the addon cars to the car descripters and such then they will have the same chance of being put into a race as any origional car.

Though personally i have never had any problem with the ratio of addon cars to origional cars, tdr picks cars randomly from origionals first then the addon cars are listed at the bottm of its list.

They are all bunched together at the bottom instead of the alphabetically like the origional cars, so there is less chance they get picked.

Could anybody upload these Rapidshare files to some other server too? It's because I can't get rapidshare downloads to work, but 300mb download is too much for my computer because I can't leave it on for a long time (vent gets stuck and if I aint by it it will overheat and crash). So ... uhm, i'd be very thankful.

I dl the Max-Pack and installed it ...

I've only three words to say :

Won - der - ful !

What a fine work !

gritz on Mon Mar 20, 2006 10:06 am
Hmm, okay, I'm gonna try it with the big one. Thanks for the suggestion.
gritz on Tue Mar 21, 2006 11:43 am
Great! I got it downloaded and installed. The cars seem fine and new tracks are cool. The only thingy is that some time the game crashes. When it's gonna crash again I'm gonna take a screen of it and post here, maybe it may help a bit with fixing pack poblems.

Oh, and I wanted to ask if there's anywhere some list available with the stuff that's in the Max Pack?
User avatar
Deamon on Tue Mar 21, 2006 2:41 pm
Yeah I know what you mean, sometimes it occures when being wasted. I hope to get that out in final version. I don't know what's the cause, it seems random and the error message isn't really descriptive..

The list of stuff thats's included + car list is in the readme:

Start Menu > Programs > SCi > Carmageddon TDR2000 > MAX-Pack Readme
gritz on Wed Mar 22, 2006 11:36 am
Thanks for the hint. :P

Well, when I put carma in just after I have started the PC it usually works fine.

Nice cars.

A minor update is available. It includes ShortyBus by Beroc and a revised TDRLauncher. The first version of the trainer add-in with 8 settings is also included. More options will be added later, suggestions are welcome.

For more info follow the link in my signature or click the Updater button in TDRLauncher.

I will wait to compile a new 'full' release when some more significant changes have been made or when more things are added.
Dark_Angel on Tue Apr 04, 2006 11:13 am
clicking the updater button says 'uncompression failed (secure layer)' and then crashes
User avatar
Deamon on Tue Apr 04, 2006 12:40 pm
It should load an external project file which contains d/l info and links, can somebody confirm this? Then i know if Dark Angel's problem is just an isolated error.

I have removed the secure layer of the online file, try again, maybe it works for you now. Otherwise:

(2.66 MB - MAX-Pack 1.13.6 update.zip - direct download)

(2.66 MB - MAX-Pack 1.13.6 update.exe)

(2.66 MB - MAX-Pack 1.13.6 update.exe)

Dark_Angel on Wed Apr 05, 2006 12:27 pm
its working without the secure layer.
