Problem with TDR on XP

I installed TDR on XP but when I try the game, only some parts of cars are visible : the front for the eagle, the wheels for some other cars but a lot of them are totally invisible !

I updated the driver of my vid card, but it didn't help ...

I remember that it worked fine under 98 but I don't think I tried it under XP ...

Here's my config :

AMD Athlon 1Ghz

384 Mo RAM (SDRAM PC 100Mhz)

NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX

Anybody've got an idea about the problem ?

try turning off 'pixel fog' in the setup, < geforce 3 had problems with it.

I read somthing about it but I didn't find this option in the menu ... Or in the TDR config ...

Hello!

I have problems with Carmageddon TDR 2000 too on Windows XP.

On Windows '98 the game running perfect. But on Windows XP the game can't load.

I see only the start picture (Red Eagle III) and nothing happen.

I don't have a Windows XP Patch for Carmageddon TDR 2000. I have visit SCI website often and the fucking download can't load.

I hope any one can help me. I have the "german version" of Carmageddon TDR 2000 because I like this game. I think Carmageddon are the best games ever made.

Now the game is running again.... with a Patch called: NoCD Patch.

I have found the patch on a japan carmageddon website and I have download and installed it.

And now I need no more the CD for play. I can play without CD and the game runs perfect.

and you've got no prob with your 3D config ?

I only got half of the cars and most 3D objects simply doesn't appear ...



I tried everything I could but no way.

So I play only Carma 2

you can also do that thing where you right click a shortcut and do the run in windows 98 ect. thats what i do with older games

For one... you should run the tdr2000.exe file in windows 98 compatibility mode. It runs just fine like that.

Two, I had similar problems with things being screwed up in TDR, but only after I had installed the DirectX SDK. There is no way back out of that, save reinstalling the machine.
