Re: Nosebleed - Levels
Thanks, but it doesn't seem to want to download. I'm using Azureus, and it hasn't done anything overnight.
Re: Nosebleed - Levels
Tracker is overloaded pretty much all the time. It's free and public, so it's not that strange.
Might work better if perhaps Polygonized could work as a small tracker for the community. It wouldn't be overloaded

Re: Nosebleed - Levels
i installed a tracker on my host a couple days ago, works but for some reason doesnt list seeds, which is a bit important really... its meant to be a bug in the tracker script i was using, im trying to find a decent tracker script somewhere but so far not much luck.
if i get it to work ill be using torrents as an alternative to using my bandwidth up.

Alright, I'll just leave it running and see what happens. I'm used to stuff downloading...slowly.

Alright, it's downloading, sweet!
Re: Nosebleed - Levels
Let's hope it'll work.
I thought if including a few things more, but then.. those pieces can be found around here already.
Edit:
Thanks to Dark Angel, http://www.planetmaim.com/tracker/announce.php is now also a tracker. By far more stable than The Pirate Bay, which only work a bit now and then. The attached file above is updated.

Re: Nosebleed - Levels
Ok I got it. I'm a little confused as to where to put everything. For example, for 1920s, it's broken up into a bunch of pieces, and they seem to repeat themshelves in different pieces. What do I do?
Re: Nosebleed - Levels
Double-click on any of the rar's inside the folder 1920. Clcik on the "extrat to.." thingy and look for you TDR 200o folder. Choose it, and it will place the things as they should be.
Or you could drag the folder "Assets" from inside the rar to any temporary place, and then manually put things where they should be.
A correct path is somthing like this:
..\Carmageddon TDR 2000\Assets\Tracks\
By "repeating" you mean "1920s_Race1", "1920s_Race2" and "1920s_Race3"? Nothing to worry about. That's the races. Everything would normally be put where the.. it Winrar is set to keep paths

Okay I got 1920s in, and I was loading it up, but it couldn't find "water1.wav"...so I can't use it just yet.

Re: Nosebleed - Levels
i dont suppose any of you know what program the carma team used to make the maps for the game. i doubt it was any modern program we use. i am sure if we hassled sci or any of the other companies that where involved in the game we could find out. i got an reply with regarads about what program to use for car creating from sci so its not like we will be ignored.

Re: Nosebleed - Levels
I have got 1920s and Hell both working. Neither had the .wav file sounds for the level, so I substitued some random sounds so I could just try the level. Any chance of getting my hands on the real sounds? The map in 1920s is also off center, the bottom, where the harbour is, goes off the bottom.
My thoughts:
1920s - Cool level, love the wide open streets, good for racing around. Also fun to check into the huge buildings and kill the ballroom dancers. Oh, and the train tracks and tunnels.
Hell - Just got it working today, very very very cool. I think I like it more than the 1920s. Just wow.
Oh yeah, when I go to my "saved" game I just get an image shown up on my screen with nothing else. It's the background for the Bridge mission (the building thing) and it had like "credits" and stuff as if it were a game, but it's just a picture...and it does nothing. Oh well.

Re: Nosebleed - Levels
Is there a file somewhere I can edit with Pack Rat to edit how many opponents I have for the 1920s and Hell? Also Hell seems to always crash when it's a saved file.
